Blackberry Link

Hi Everyone!  First off CONGRATULATIONS to LILLY and her new website :)  So I've owned a Blackberry for over 4 years now and I'm in love with Blackberry.  Here's my question and please don't laugh.  When ever I add songs to my Z10 I don't use blackberry link!  The way I add songs to my z10 is I plug it in to our computer,  click on on blackberry option that comes up, I open ITUNES and drag the songs out of ITUNES and drop it into my music folder.  But I really want to learn how to drag my music to BlackBerry link.

I'll just give all of you the heads up................... I don't know very much about my blackberry and I always ask questions!  Ask my friends over at N4BB.  They have educated me so much and they are great.

Thank you in advance!  Cheers!

Hi Judy :) thanks for being here, with BlackBerry Link you can set ITunes as your default music source. However the way I load music is OTA through link. I do it through my Z30's file manager, my laptops are all connected to wifi and as long as they are on you can access all the file folders from your phone. I simply move albums and songs to my phone the same way I move pictures and other files from my device memory to my Dropbox or SD card. Not sure if that's helpful but I can go look a bit later and fo a step by step how to for you once I refresh my memory on using link for this on the desktop

Judy, use link and select Itunes as the source. You can easily select songs/playlists that you want to sync.

All good suggestions and I have used them both. But like Lilly my favourite way is to just use file manager and just move them from pc to phone and back if needed. Just make sure link is loaded and connected wirelessly and ur good to go

The main reason I prefer to use the sync is for Playlists.

That's true, I've been lazy of late lol but importing your play lists with sync is awesome... Link is an incredible piece of software the way it manages so much

Judy, if your computer and phone are on wifi, and you have already set up BlackBerry Link with that phone the easiest way to move music is without opening link.... make sure your computer is on though. then go to your file manager on you BlackBerry, swipe over to menus and you should see your device, SD card, Dropbox if you have it and your computer.... choose computer and navigate to your music folder select albums ect.... then choose copy and move them to your SD card to the music folder just the same as if you were moving files from your phones internal memory over to your SD card. quite easy way to do it....
